The FBI has apprehended Marine Cpl. Cesar Laurean, the serviceman wanted in the brutal murder of pregnant Marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach in December of last year.

An arrest warrant had been issued for Laurean on January 12 but the Marine had already fled from his
Lauterbach went missing in the middle of December and by the 17th the Marines began a search for the woman. On the 19th of December her mother reported her missing and three weeks later police found her charred remains in a pit in Laurean’s back yard.
