Lt. Cmdr. Rebecca C. Dickinson, a Naval officer, testified Thursday that she had sex for money while working for Deborah Jeane-Palfrey's escort service.
Dickinson, seen in the photo below, testified she worked for Palfrey's Pamela Martin & Associates escort service, but quit in April 2006, citing that she did not like it anymore and had prior responsibilities.
Dickinson, 38, said that she worked for the company under the name "Renee" and charged $250-300 an hour.
Palfrey claims she was unaware that the escorts were having sex for money. She says the business was an erotic fantasy service.
Twelve other admitted call girls and three former customers have testified this week at Palfrey's trial. Palfrey is charged with racketeering, money laundering and mail fraud.
Palfrey, the reputed Washington, D.C. madam, has had the escort service for over 13 years.
Dickinson, who is on administrative leave from the Navy, has had her naval career sacrificed due to her testimony. Dickinson had two Navy/Marine Corps Commendation medals and four Navy/Marine Corps Achievement medals.
