Elton John to Hit Bakersfield, CA for Show at Rabobank Arena on April 18

Elton John will be heading to California for a show at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield on April 18. John recently performed in New York’s Radio City Music Hall in support of Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. The controversial “Elton and Hillary: One Night Only” concert put John in hot water for his comment regarding many American’s as misogynistic.   

 

John will be in California for a pair of shows, his first being in Bakersfield and that will be followed by a performance at the Honda Center in Anaheim on April 19. Elton will then hit Florida for three shows and then travel to Austria for a show in Tyrol and then to Singapore before going to Australia.

 

John ranks as one of the most successful pop and rock artists of all time with more than 250 million albums sold world wide over a career that has spanned more than four decades.

 

The 60-year-old artists was inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 1992 and two years later he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 1995 John was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1995.
