Leonard Cohen will be traveling to Dublin, Ireland one month into his massive world tour for three shows at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham beginning June 13.
The legendary singer and songwriter will be kicking off his tour on May 10 with a show at the Fredericton Playhouse in Fredericton, New Brunswick and that will be followed with five shows in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium on May 12, 13, 15, 16 and 17.
Cohen has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame as well as the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. The 73-year-old is also an inductee n the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Cohen was recently honored with a Grammy Award as a featured artist on Herbie Hancock’s River: The Joni Letters.
It has been nearly four years since Cohen released his 11th studio album, Dear Heather, yet he remains one of the most influential artists to date.
Among the stops on the Leonard Cohen world tour will be the UK, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, France, Belgium and Portugal.
