It has been more than two weeks since Zimbabwe held their presidential elections and the outcome has yet to be announced, angering opposition leader Morgan Tsyangirai who is believed by many to have collected enough votes to avoid a run-off with current president Robert Mugabe.
On Monday the country’s High Court rejected Tsyangirai’s demand for an immediate release of the voting outcome, a move Tsyangirai has said was done to help Mugabe organize a run-off.
Zimbabwe’s High Court is stacked with those loyal to Mugabe, the man who has run the country for the past 28 years.
On Tuesday Tsyangirai’s party Movement for a Democratic Change is expected to follow through with their plans for a nationwide strike.
