Billy Ray, Miley Cyrus to Host 2008 CMT Awards Monday Night

The 2008 Country Music Television (CMT) Awards, which honors country music's biggest superstars, will air live Monday night on CMT at 8pm.

The 2008 CMT Awards, which will be held at The Curb Event Center at Belmont University in Nashville, will be hosted by Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter, "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus.

The 2008 Country Music Television Awards are the genre's only fan-voted awards show, giving all the power to the large country music fan base.

Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Toby Keith were announced as performers during the awards show.

Paisley's "Online" video was nominated for four Country Music Television awards at Monday night's show, and Sugarland is up for three for their video "Stay."

Underwood, Swift, Kellie Pickler, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts, and Trace Adkins all have three nominations apiece.
