Two Women and a Theatre present Lee Blessing’s “Independence” at The Sherry Theatre, 11052 Magnolia Blvd., North Hollywood, Calif. sponsored by The Women’s Ensemble.
Performances will be on April 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27, and May 2, 3, and 4; Friday and Saturday performances at 8 p.m., Sunday’s at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased at the door.
The cast, Jennifer Nangle, Vanessa Mesia, Mali Elfman, and Adela Guzman, depict a family in crisis as each member struggles for independence. The audience will be moved by the wrenching portrayal of the pain each woman faces, and the resulting arbitrary independence each one gains.
Two Women and a Theatre are experienced stage performers who have worked in the Los Angeles area for the past five years.
