Deborah Jeane Palfrey Found Guilty on Felony Charges

“D.C. Madam” Deborah Jeane Palfrey was found guilty for her involvement in running a prostitution ring in the nation’s capital. A federal jury found the 52-year-old guilty on four felony counts of racketeering and money laundering.

Palfrey claims her escort service, “Palfrey’s Pamela Martin and Associates,” was a legal “sexual fantasy service.” She said that she was not aware of any sexual relations between her escorts and clients. Palfrey ran the escort service from 1993 to 2006.

After less than a day of deliberation, the jury found Palfrey guilty. She could face up to 55 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for July 24.
