Dallas DVD Duplication Duplium Gets Hit By F1 Tornado and Team Duplium Hits Back!!!
Many companies would pack it up and wait until Monday to resume business, but not Duplium!
On Thursday Morning, April 10, 2008, about 3:20 AM, an F1 Tornado (with wind speeds clocked between 105 to 110 mph) hit the southeast corner of Duplium’s Carrolton, Texas Facility. Fortunately it was a component storage warehouse and was not occupied at that time, there were no injuries whatsoever. Our Manufacturing and business offices at the west end of the building were not hit; however damages to the exterior were extensive enough that it raised concerns about the structural integrity of the rest of the building. We were forced to exit the building and advised that Duplium was essentially going to be shut down until, at best guess, Saturday morning.

The staff showed great resolve; we temporarily setup reception in the front parking lot, held executive meetings in parking spaces, and we planned and worked toward immediate re-opening of the building. We setup command posts for our pre-flight services in people's homes, we used remote IT, and did what was possible to keep clients abreast of the situation and the business moving forward.
On Friday evening, the Duplium Team received some frustrating news. We would not be allowed in the building starting Saturday morning until, at best case, Saturday night.
