Global Market Directory (The GMD) adds Linking between Members
The Global Market Directory (The GMD) has added linking between its members. Members with profiles in The GMD can now request to be linked to other members within the site.
The GMD currently accepts memberships in four categories. These four categories are Public Companies, Brokerage Firms, Stock Brokers and Individuals. Each member can create their own profile which can include a body of text, pictures, video and press releases. Once a member has created their profile they can edit the information at any time.
The Global Market Directory provides Public Companies with the ability to create a corporate profile for visitors to view from anywhere in the world. While sites like Wikipedia provide information about companies and individuals that content is not always controlled or accessible to the actual company or individual to edit. The GMD enables its members to create their own profile and place the content they want the public to see within it.
Public Companies, Brokerage Firms and Stock Brokers can be transparent to individual members and visitors that come to browse profiles. This provides them with the ability to display the information they feel visitors would need to gain a greater understanding of them.
Members within The GMD can also link with other members thus creating a seamless transition for members who are looking to find someone to contact to gather more information regarding a company, brokerage firm broker or another individual.
The Global Market Directory is a division of TransWorldNews, a global news distribution service. Public Companies can submit news and press releases through TransWorldNews via their GMD account by signing in with the same username and password. All news and press releases submitted through TransWorldNews will be available in the companies profile section in The GMD by clicking on the News button. Individuals from around the globe reading a company’s press release can view which brokerage firm or stock brokers are linked in to that public company’s profile and contact a member that may be in their geographical area that they may otherwise not have known.
