Man Survives Toilet Explosion Unharmed

61 year old Richard Szymanski from Johnson City was launched against a wall after a hot water line broke causing the toilet he was sitting on to explode.

Szymanski was using the bathroom at his son’s house when steam started to come out after he flushed.  Next thing he knew, the toilet shot out hot water throwing him into a shower wall before he could even stand up.

Szymanski commented, saying “It was kind of hot there for a minute.”  He was a little dizzy after the incident but remained unharmed.
