Maryland Mom Gives Birth To Rare Quadruplets

A Maryland mom gave birth to a rare set of quadruplets in which three of the four boys are identical.

Fewer than 100 cases of “identical triplets plus one” have been documented in the U.S., officials at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center stated.

The boys, born in January, were 11 weeks premature and were delivered by C-section. A family press conference is scheduled Friday.
