Cheerleader Dies after Being Kicked in Chest During Competition
A 20-year-old cheerleader performing with the Energy Cheer team at the Minuteman Cheerleading Championship in Worcester, Massachusetts died on Monday, one day after suffering a fatal accident in the team’s performance.
Lauren Chang was performing with her Energy Cheer teammates when she was inadvertently kicked in the chest at the end of their routine last Sunday.
Chang suffered a collapsed lung and was rushed to a hospital where she died one day later.
