Foxy Brown Released From Rikers Island Prison Friday

Foxy Brown, the successful female rapper, was released from prison Friday after serving seven months in jail.

Foxy Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was met by an entourage, including her mother and lawyer. The entourage included three Rolls Royces, a slew of SUVs and a Maybach, which was full of clothes.

Brown was was sentenced to one year in prison in September 2007 for violating probation stemming from a 2004 fight with two manicurists.

In 2004, Brown allegedly attacked two manicurists in the Chelsea section of Manhattan  during a dispute over a $20 bill that she refused to pay. Brown was sentenced to three years probation and anger management counseling. The manicurists also filed orders of protection on Brown.

In 2007, Brown turned herself in to police after hitting her neighbor with a Blackberry PDA, thus violating her probation. Brown spent the last seven months in Rikers Island prison in Queens, NY.

It was rumored that Brown is in talks with VH1 for a reality show.
