Sen. Barack Obama picked up three key endorsements Friday from former Clinton Secretary of Labor Robert Reich and former senators Bill Nunn and David Boren.
Reich, a current professor at the University of California, followed New Mexico governor Bill Richardson is giving his endorsement to Obama.
Reich also maintains a blog in which he details his political thoughts. The top entry in his blog currently is his endorsement for Obama.
In addition to an endorsement from each, Nunn (GA) and Boren (OK) also will serve as national security advisers to Obama. Both are superdelegates.
Nunn, a 25-year Senate veteran and longtime chair of the Armed Services Committee, was in the vice-presidential mix in 2004, and had weighed an independent run this year. He is an expert in nuclear nonproliferation.
Boren, a former chairman of the Intelligence Committee, hails from a state that Clinton won, and his son, Rep. Dan Boren, is an uncommitted superdelegate.
