2-Year-Old in Critical Condition after Being Blown into Lake Michigan

A 2-year-old boy remains in critical condition after strong winds knocked him from his stroller and into Lake Michigan on Friday afternoon.

According to officials the boy’s grandfather had been pushing the stroller along Chicago’s Lake Michigan when the stroller was hit by the gusty winds and carried the boy into the cold water.

The grandfather then jumped in to save the boy but he had to be pulled from the water as well. By the time the boy was found he had been underwater for nearly 15 minutes. He was rushed to Children’s Memorial Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
