Neil Young to Appear at Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium on July 4

Neil Young will continue his run of festival shows on July 4 when he appears at the Rock Werchter Festival in Werchter, Belgium on July 4. The festival will be held at the Festival Grounds with several other acts scheduled to perform.

A week prior to  the Rock Werchter Festival Neil Young will be headlining the Rock in Rio Madrid on June 27, day one of the wildly popular music festival being held at the Arganda Del Ray in Spain.

Young, who has been performing for more than four decades, was inducted into the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1982 and has twice been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. The 62-year-old rocker was received for his solo work as well as his stint with Buffalo Springfield.

Among Young’s most notable song’s, “Rockin in the Free World,” “Heart of Gold,” and “Cortez the Killer,”  were included in Rolling Stone’s top 500 rock songs of all time.
