maniaTV Signs David Newberg as Chief Financial Officer

maniaTV has signed David Newberg as the new Chief Financial Officer. David will bring twenty three years of financial acumen from successful media properties such as Rhino Records and Live Universe to the leading independent provider of new media television. In addition to helping the maniaTV network explore additional revenue streams, Newberg will oversee execution of the profitability strategy implemented by CEO, Peter Hoskins, the management team and maniaTV Board of Directors.

Most recently, Newberg was Chief Financial Officer of Live Universe Inc., a company that owns over 40 social, lyrics, and video networking websites, and was responsible for directing all company accounting, finance, and human resource functions. He also has experience as Chief Financial Officer of Delta Entertainment Corporation, a self distributing mid-sized entertainment company that wholesales audio and video products in Indiana, and was Vice President of Finance at Rhino Entertainment Company, a subsidiary of the Warner Music Group.
