The Eagles to Perform Live at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park in Atlanta, GA, May 17

The Eagles will be performing live at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park in Atlanta, Georgia on May 17 at 8:00 pm.  The group will be performing again at the venue on May 20 before moving on to the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA on May 21.

Formed in Los, Angeles in the 1970’s, The Eagles is one of the most successful bands since the 70’s.  According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the band’s albums, Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 and Hotel California, were among the ten best selling albums by the end of the 20^th century.

Following their 1980 breakup, the band reunited in 1994 for Hell Freezes Over, mixing live and new studio tracks.  The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame four years later in 1998.
