Robert Cheruiyot Wins Fourth Boston Marathon

Robert Cheruiyot won his fourth Boston Marathon on Monday. He finished in 2 hours, 7 minutes, and 46 seconds, only 33 seconds away from beating his time last year.

The Kenyan took home the $150,000 prize, the biggest in marathon history.

 

In the women’s race, Dire Tune beat Alevtina Biktimirova by only two seconds. The Ethiopian finished in 2 hours, 25 minutes and 25 seconds.  Tune also took home $150,000.
