Cheerleader Lauren Chang Dies After Worcester Competition

A cheerleaders death has been ruled an accident. Lauren Chang died after she was kicked in the chest during a competition in Worcester last weekend. According to a medical examiner the 20-year-old died Monday after the kick to her chest left her with a collapsed lung.

Chang was fatally injured during her team’s co-ed routine at the Minuteman Cheerleading Championships. The team won first place for the routine.
