Samantha "Sam" Ronson and Lindsay Lohan have become extremely close, according to gossip columns Tuesday.
Ronson, a talented DJ/musician and Lohan have been friends for some time now, but Lohan has recently become very protective of Ronson, causing people to question how close the two really are, being that Ronson is a known lesbian.
This past weekend, Lohan and Ronson were partying together in New York at the Beatrice Inn on Friday and Hawaiian Tropic Zone on Saturday, where Ronson was the DJ.
According to gossip columns, Lohan became jealous about the attention Ronson was getting. "Ashley Olsen said hello to Sam at the Beatrice, and Lindsay screamed at her, 'Get your 15-year-old 'Full House' a - - away from my girlfriend,' " said a source to DailyBlabber.
On Saturday, Lohan said Ronson "was ignoring her" and became upset. "Samantha was really focused on her work and didn't leave the booth for anything," said the source.
Lohan even created a profile under the name "Lindsay Ronson" on a popular social networking site recently.
Last week, Samantha Ronson practically moved in with Lohan to keep her away from temptation of drugs and alcohol.
