Six Legged Kitten Needs Operation
The owner of a kitten born with 6 legs is asking for money donations so the cat can get an operation to move the extra legs. Veterinarians at the Animal Medical Center says the kitten, whose name is Hex, was born with two extra legs, two colons, and a duplication of part of his intestine.
According to Hex’s vet, he is actually one-and-a-half cats. Hex was supposed to have a twin, but half of his brother fused to him leaving him with the extra parts.
The owner of the cat is accepting donations for an operation that will remove Hex’s extra legs, extra colon and duplicated intestine. The surgery could cost anywhere from $2,400 to $3,000.
