Academic Summer Camp Runs Free Enrollment Promotion

Leading academic summer camp, SuperCamp, is running a promotion through May 31 offering parents a chance to win a free 2008 summer camp enrollment for their son or daughter

Parents can win a free summer camp enrollment for their son or daughter in a promotion being offered by the academic summer camp, SuperCamp. One grand prize winner will win The Ultimate SuperCamp Prize Package, which consists of a free enrollment into one of SuperCamp’s summer programs in 2008 plus a SuperCamp Student Support Package.

The promotion is in recognition of the summer camp’s 50,000 camper enrollment, which took place on March 31. SuperCamp launched in 1982 with 64 kids in its first camp in Lake Tahoe. Its popularity has grown every year throughout the U.S. and worldwide as parents seek out the best summer enrichment opportunities for their children.

Anyone who enrolls in SuperCamp’s Junior Forum or Senior Forum summer programs between now and May 31 is entered automatically into the sweepstakes; however, no purchase is required. Additional prizes include more SuperCamp Student Support Packages, which contain several books and DVDs that cover much of the Quantum Learning-based content used in SuperCamp’s 10-day camps, and SuperCamp t-shirts.

SuperCamp’s 10-day summer learning and life skills programs help prepare students for the next level. Studies with over 6,000 SuperCamp graduates have shown outstanding results in the areas of improved grades, increased student motivation and higher levels of self-confidence and self-esteem.

SuperCamp was co-founded in 1982 by Bobbi DePorter, President of Quantum Learning Network, who studied with Dr. Georgi Lozanov, the father of accelerated learning. Accelerated learning is the basis of Quantum Learning’s educational methods that are used at SuperCamp and in schools nationwide.

In 2008, SuperCamp will run camps at eight colleges nationwide. Programs are offered for boys and girls entering grades 4 and 5 in the fall, 6-8, 9-12 and college. Each year, most camps fill up well before the start of summer. In 2007, over 200 students ended up on waiting lists, unable to get into a camp.
