After cancelling a show scheduled in Pittsburgh earlier this week, 11-time Grammy-award winner Alicia Keys called off a Thursday performance scheduled in Cleveland due to swollen vocal chords.
Keys’ launched her North American tour last Saturday in Hampton, Va., promoting her newly release album, “As I Am.”
Tickets for Keys’ Cleveland show will be honored at her Saturday night performance in Columbus, Ohio. Fans can also request a refund.
Late last week, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks cancelled plans to open for the Keys tour. Sparks, who was suffering acute vocal chord hemmorage, plans to return to the tour sometime in May.
