Summer camp registration is in high gear at SuperCamp’s eight

Ms. DePorter is encouraging all parents who are looking into summer enrichment programs for their children this year to contact SuperCamp soon, as many of the summer camp’s sessions are close to capacity. Last year, over 200 kids remained on SuperCamp’s waiting list at the start of summer. Consequently, they were unable to attend the program and missed out on a great time and great learning.
“Parents and graduates are always telling us how the students’ grades have improved in the school year following them attending SuperCamp,” says Ms. DePorter. “These comments are supported by independent studies, one of which showed that 73 percent of grads increased their grades.”
The study also reported that over 80 percent of SuperCamp graduates increased their confidence and self-esteem. Ms. DePorter attributes this number to the mini-successes that SuperCamp facilitators orchestrate throughout the 7-, 8- and 10-day camps for all campers.
