Atlanta police say two people are dead in an apparent murder-suicide outside an Atlanta skyscraper.
Witnesses told police a man and woman had been sitting in a courtyard outside the Bank of America building in downtown Atlanta when the two go into an argument Friday.
According to police officer Ron Campbell, the man held the woman down and shot her before shooting himself. The bodies have not been identified.
Campbell says witnesses described a “pretty panicked scene” at the tower. The 1,023-foot-tall Bank of America building just north of downtown Atlanta is the city’s tallest.
