Gusting winds late Saturday night continued to fuel the wildfire in Southern California, leading officials to order the evacuation of 200 homes that evening and another 100 homes on Sunday.
The evacuations affected the residents near Pasadena as the wildfire moves through Sierra Madre, a small community near the San Gabriel Mountains.
Fire officials have said the wildfire is about 5 percent contained but they have nearly 200 firefighters, water tankers, helicopters and engines.
