Robert Plant and Alison Krauss in Stockholm, Sweden on May 16 for Show at the Hovet

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have wrapped up their brief run of shows in the United States and will now be hitting Europe with an opening date on May 5 in Birmingham, England. Over the next 17 days they will hit several cities including Stockholm on May 16 for a show at the Hovet.

Following their Birmingham show the pair will be in Manchester on May 7, Cardiff on May 8, Dusseldorf, Germany on May 10, Brussels, Belgium on May 11, Paris on May 13, Amsterdam on May 14 and then Stockholm two days later.

They will continue their run with a pair of shows in Norway before hitting London on May 22. Plant and Krauss will then return to the U.S. with their first date scheduled on June 2 in Roanoke, Virginia.

Plant and Krauss announced they would be touring to support their Raising Sand album that was released on October 23, 2007. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #24 by Rolling Stone in their Top 50 Albums of 2007.

While Plant and Krauss are expected to play several of the songs off Raising Sand they will also perform many of their own singles from their catalog.

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding a potential Led Zeppelin reunion tour following the incredibly successful show they put on in December at the O2 Arena in London but the likelihood of that happening remains slim.
