Mariah Carey sparked engagement rumors to boyfriend Nick Cannon after wearing a shiny new ring this weekend.
Carey and Cannon were seen together at the afterparty for her new film Tennessee on Saturday night. The couple were holding hands at the party at Tenjune, which followed the movie's premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Carey was sporting a huge ring on her finger throughout the night and her cozy demeanor with her beau Cannon stirred rumors that the two were engaged.
While in the VIP room, Carey and Cannon were joined by Carey's close friend Da Brat, Zoe Kravitz and Ben Kingsley.
When asked about a possible engagement, Cannon's rep had no comment; Carey's was unable to be reached for comment.
In her new film, she plays Krystal, a troubled diner waitress and aspiring singer who tackles personal demons while on a road trip to Tennessee. This is her first role since 2001's Glitter.
