Former Cop Offers $25,000 Reward in Wife’s Disappearance

A former police officer who has denied involvement in his wife’s disappearance is offering a reward for information leading to her safe return.

Drew Peterson, 53, says he last saw his wife Stacy on October 28, and that he believes she ran off with another man. He is offering a $25,000 reward and has hired investigators to review any tips received.

Police, on the other hand, have called the case a possible homicide, and named Peterson as a suspect in his wife’s disappearance.

Peterson and his wife had been married four years and had two children.

In 2004, an ex-wife of Peterson’s died in what was considered an accidental drowning. Grand jury investigators reopened that case following Stacy Peterson’s disappearance.

No charges have been filed in either case.
