Paulette Dean Daly is rumored to have had an affair with Roger Clemens, according to reports Thursday.
Daly, the former wife of professional golfer John Daly, met Clemens in Palm Springs, Fla., after which he might have arranged for Daly to see him pitch against the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, CA.
Daly and Clemens' affair is said to have started after Daly's marriage with her husband was over.
Paulette married John in Las Vegas in January 1995 at the Little Church of the West, but their marriage ended soon after John was arrested at 1997 Players Championship, where he was taken to a hospital with alcohol poisoning.
"Yeah, I've known Roger quite a while and we are friends," Daly said. But when asked if she had ever been romantically involved with Clemens, Daly said, "You know what, I'm really uncomfortable talking about this. I'm just going to have to say, 'No comment.'"
Daly becomes the third woman this week that has been linked to an affair with Clemens after country singer Mindy McCready and Angela Moyer.
McCready and her mother confirmed the affair, while Moyer declined to comment.
Clemens has been married to his wife Debbie for 24 years.
