Joe Andrew, the man appointed by President Bill Clinton to be the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, has rescinded his endorsement of Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and decided to throw his support behind Barack Obama.
Andrew, a superdelegate from Indiana, has pledged to rally support among other superdelegates to back Obama and unite the party. He had been one of the first to endorse Clinton when the 2008 Democratic Presidential process kicked off.
While Andrew has been close to the Clinton family since Bill made him the chairman of the DNC at age 39 he determined that a vote for Hillary was a vote for Republican candidate John McCain.
