New York Summer Camps Join The Ivy League

Academic summer camps and the Ivy League join forces when SuperCamp's learning and life skills summer enrichment program came to Cornell University in Ithaca, New York

Among New York summer camps, SuperCamp at Cornell is one of the elite summer enrichment programs available to students entering grades 4 through 12 in the fall. In only the second year with its Ivy League summer camps, SuperCamp at Cornell has quickly gained a reputation as having a program with outstanding content and a beautiful venue.

Founded in 1865, Cornell's 745-acre campus is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State and sits on a hilltop overlooking 40-mile-long Cayuga Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes. Creeks and waterfalls fill the gorges on two sides of the campus and one is never far from the sight and sound of falling water. This is an area of great natural beauty that intertwines and blends with the university's graceful quads and inspiring architecture.

SuperCamp’s academic summer camps are held nationwide at eight colleges. In addition to Cornell, SuperCamp runs three California summer camps, midwest summer camps at Drake University in Des Moines, North Carolina summer camps at Wake Forest, Colorado summer camps for teens and incoming college freshmen at Colorado College and Washington summer camps at the University of Washington in Seattle.

All eight locations feature SuperCamp’s teen summer camps for students entering grades 9 through 12. There are a total of 18 of these teen programs, known as Senior Forum, offered across the eight colleges.

SuperCamp grad parents understand the value of these camps in the development of their children. Says one parent, "My daughter attended SuperCamp at Stanford this summer and to say she enjoyed it would be the understatement of the year. She's always been a great student and daughter, but this was a life-changing event for her. She has just written her first English essay as a freshman and, of course, it is about SuperCamp. Keep up the good work! It is much appreciated by parents and students! Her siblings will soon be SuperCampers, too."

It’s the same for parents of kids who weren’t doing so well in school. One mother says,
"My son never seemed interested in getting good grades. When he did homework he did not bother to turn it in. He had high A's in tests but zeros in homework. After SuperCamp he has not missed a single assignment. SuperCamp was worth every penny we spent."

Parents are urged to enroll their children now, as SuperCamp’s programs are nearing capacity. To do so, parents can visit www.SuperCamp.com or call 800-285-3276.
