(TYO:4301) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2008 on Tuesday, May
13.
AMUSE INC.
is a Japanese entertainment company that has three business segments. The
Artist Management segment is engaged in the operation of concerts and
performances by its artists, the planning and production of performances and
events, the presentation of its artists on televisions (TVs), radios and
commercial messages (CMs), the collection of membership fees for fun clubs, the
sale of various characters' goods, the manufacture of master discs, the
management of copyrights and others.
The Media
Visual segment produces TV programs and video products, produces and
distributes movies and purchases, manufactures and sells video cassettes and
digital versatile discs (DVDs), among others. The Contents segment is involved
in the management of master copyrights and patents related to old records and
the provision of movie and video products.
AMUSE has
eight subsidiaries and two associated companies. On March 1, 2008, the Company
has established a Tokyo-based wholly owned subsidiary.
