Plane Crash in Sudan Kills Defense Minister, 21 Others

A plane crash in South Sudan killed Defense Minister Dominic Dim Deng along with 21 other people on Friday.

Early reports indicated that the plane was experiencing engine trouble and the pilot had actually radioed to a control tower in Rumbek requesting an emergency landing. The control tower then lost all contact with the pilot and the plane went down shortly after just west of Juba.  

Also killed in the crash was presidential advisor Justin Yak.
