According to the Wall Street Journal, Avis Budget Group Inc should top rival Hertz Global Holdings Inc's (HTZ.N) $1.2 billion bid for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc.
The report also stated that Avis will take on more debt to finance the deal and will present an offer in late July or early August.
