Parent Connect will allow parents to check their children's grades step by step throughout the school year - before the report card is printed.
Parent Connect also allows parents to track class rank and watch grades rise and fall. Parents can even opt to get updates on their cell phones.
The immediate access of "Big Mother", alluding the all-seeing availability of the website, will make it almost impossible for children to change their report cards when they get home or to hide their grade from their parents.
In order for parents to rece the grade updates, the school their child attends must participate with the online program Parent Connect.
However, Parent Connect, which is located at ParentConnect.com, may give intruding parents too much control and access to try to control their child's learning environment.
