Catholic Priest Sentenced to Federal Prison after Having Sex with Female Inmates
A Roman Catholic priest who had been assigned as a chaplain at a women’s prison in Fort Worth, Texas will himself be spending time behind bars after a judge sentenced him to two years in federal prison for violating trust as an employee of the federal prison.
Vincent Inametti pled guilty to having sex with two female inmates while he was serving as chaplain and had been facing up to ten years for the sexual abuse of a ward charges.
Inametti, 48, had been working at the Federal Medical Center Carswell for seven years. He began a relationship with one prisoner in 2004 and the second followed a few months later.
