Pre-College Preparation Begins With Summer Enrichment

Pre-college summer enrichment programs are now available to students in high school that help prepare them with both the advanced learning skills and well-rounded life skills necessary to make it to college.

SuperCamp, an academic summer camps for students entering grades 9-12, focuses on academic and life skills as a way of rounding out a student's capabilities. The academic skills address such areas as critical thinking, creative writing, problem solving, test prep and reading effectiveness.

The life skills component of SuperCamp's 10-day curriculum enhances students' communication and leadership skills and also builds confidence, motivation, self-esteem and responsibility.

SuperCamp also operates teen summer camps for students about to enter college. These eight-day camps, called Quantum U, take the pre-college enrichment skills to the next level for college-level students. New issues dealing with autonomy, money management, time management, personal health, and overall life management are addressed to these students who are embarking on a new phase of their academic and personal lives.

SuperCamp offers 10-day pre-high school summer enrichment camps for students entering grades 6-8 at several colleges throughout the U.S. Once again, the curriculum covers both learning and life skills geared to this particular age/grade level of students.

SuperCamp and Quantum U have some spaces available in various sessions, which begin throughout July and well into August. Parents interested in determining current openings should call SuperCamp at 800-285-3276.
