Greening South Africa with Green Business League

Greg Seymour works with leaders in South Africa to Bring Green

Just a month after the announced agreement between Green Business League, Inc and Greg Seymour of Go Green Consulting, the leadership in South Africa seems ready to embrace a program that will help bring a credible Green program to South African businesses.

Greg Seymour is one of those dynamic people that easily fits the mode of a leader.  His chosen cause is to integrate Green standards across the country of South Africa as well as surrounding nations.  As most of us now realize, Green and sustainable programs have long been a mixed bag of causes; and confusion about Green programming is common.

The
Green Business League represented a proven program that had been proven in the U.S. market and is quickly spreading throughout countries like Canada, Mexico, and South America.  Its strengths were the transparency of a national standard that can reach any level of society or business, a reliable auditing system, and a holistic approach that people understand.

While LEED is primarily developed for Green building efforts, the Green Business League pioneered the issue of "Green Practices" certification meaning that any business can improve its operation regardless of the facility.  This creates a universal opportunity for businesses, communities, and governments because the GBL point system can easily be adopted and applied in a fair manner in any community.

Greg Seymour
is the national director of the Green Business League in South Africa.  His experience and drive means that the Green Business League will have tremendous resources and strength in this part of the world.
