According to a Hillary Clinton campaign aide the New York senator has lent her presidential bid $6.4 million over the past month, pushing her personal investment in her own campaign to more than $11 million.
Clinton has found it tough to keep up with her rival Barack Obama when it comes to carrying on the day-to-day operations of her campaign.
While Obama maintains a strong base of fundraisers and has had little trouble launching advertising campaigns Clinton has struggled to bring in a consistent flow of dollars.
Reports indicated that Obama spent nearly twice as much as Clinton for Tuesday’s primaries in North Carolina and Indiana. Obama took North Carolina in convincing fashion while Clinton edged out a win in Indiana.
