“Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin’s Widow Settles Zoo Case

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s widow reached a settlement Wednesday over claims the family-owned Australia Zoo owed creditors $2.3 million.

Terri Irwin, Australia Zoo and seven other unrelated companies reached an out of court settlement with recovery agency Alyssa Treasury Services, prompting a Victoria state judge to dismiss the case which was set for trial in October.

Best known as the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin died in 2006 during underwater filming for his popular television show after a stingray barb pierced his chest.
