Hillary Clinton Wins Indiana Primary, Gears for West Virginia

Sen. Hillary Clinton took home the Indiana Democratic primary on Tuesday, winning with 51% of the vote.

Clinton was expected to win more of a margin against rival Sen. Barack Obama, garnering 644,590 to Obama's 630,395 (49%).

Clinton's win added 37 delegates to her campaign, while Obama received 33.

Obama still leads the delegate count with a total of 1,842: 1,588 delegates and 254 superdelegates. Clinton follows with 1,419 delegates and 267 superdelegates for a total 1,686.

In order to secure the Democratic nomination, a candidate needs to secure 2,025 delegates to win.

Based on numbers, it has been reported that Clinton cannot win the nomination. However, she has been vehement about staying in the race.

The West Virginia primary takes place on May 13.
