Rakon Limited (NZE:RAK) to Release Preliminary 2008 Earnings May 21

Rakon Limited (NZE:RAK) will release the preliminary earnings for 2008 on Wednesday, May 21.  The financial results will be posted on the company’s website at companyresearch.nzx.com/corporate/RAK/icentre.php?menu=RAK.

Rakon Limited (Rakon) is engaged in the development of frequency control technology based on quartz crystals. Rakon designs crystal and oscillator products for specific customer requirements within a range of industry applications. These include: global positioning satellite (GPS), wireless, networks, cellular, code division multiple access (CDMA), global system for mobile communications (GSM), telecom, radio and microwave.

Rakon has manufacturing plants located in New Zealand, Europe and Asia. Rakon’s has developed a range of temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXOs) products for consumer applications. It manufactures a range of application specific products and is able to design frequency control-based solutions for its customers. These products include high-frequency, voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXOs) and low jitter crystal oscillator, as well as advanced specialty modules, such as the GPS radio frequency front end radio.
