Neil Diamond to Perform Live at the United Center in Chicago July 26

Neil Diamond will be performing live at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, July 27 at 8:00 pm.  Diamond will perform at the Center again the following night before moving on to the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for his July 29^th show.

One of the most popular singer/songwriters of the 1960’s through 1980’s, Neil Diamond is a successful pop music performing how released several number one hits through the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.  William Ruhlmann, a critic wrote about Diamond saying, “as of 2001, he claimed worldwide record sales of 115 million copies, and as of 2002 he was ranked third, behind only Elton John and Barbra Streisand, on the list of the most successful adult contemporary artists in the history of Billboard chart.”

Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984 in addition to the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000.
