Three Texas teenagers were arrested on Wednesday after two admitted to police they had dug up a human corpse and converted the skull into a bong to smoke marijuana.
Police arrested Kevin Wade Jones, 17, and Matthew Richard Gonzalez, 17, both from Kingwood, Texas, and have charged them with a misdemeanor count of abusing a corpse. A third suspect was being sent to a juvenile justice system.
According to reports Jones apparently volunteered the information to police while he was being questioned about the use of a stolen debit card. After telling police about the grave robbery the story was confirmed by Gonzalez.
Investigators found the gravesite in a heavily wooded area of Humble and discovered a knocked over headstone and a hole four-feet deep. The grave was said to be that of an 11-year-old boy who died in 1921.
