A man participating in the Gulf Coast Triathlon in Florida on Saturday died while swimming the 1.2-mile leg of the race in the Gulf of Mexico.
Patrick Kane, a 38-year-old man from Roswell, Ga., was pulled from the waters after he apparently flipped over while swimming. Race Director Shelley Bramblett called his death a “tragic accident” and an official cause of death has yet to bee released.
