New Model Toyotas To Increase in Price Says Monitoring Site

ToyotaCarsForSale.com, an online website that tracks the prices of Toyota cars, has recently released a statement along the lines of "price increases are imminent". They claim that because of the weak dollar, Toyota will be forced to increase the prices of their cars but only by about $200-400.

Japanese exporters of these cars earn their income in dollars and when the dollar slides in comparison to the yen, they lose out in profits. That drives up the prices to the American consumer.

ToyotaCarsForSale.com says that this is something that can be turned to a positive by the savvy consumer. Sales are slow in the United States and they urge all consumers to shop around for the best deals. Since profits are determined by sticker price sales, many dealerships are offering bonus features for free such as free gasoline or paint jobs.

For reference, Nissan has increased prices already while Honda has no plans of doing such a thing.
