Robert Plant and Alison Krauss Wrap Up European Leg with Performance at Wembley Arena in London on May 22

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are now in the middle of their European run of shows following several stops in the United States. They pair opened their European tour on May 5 in Birmingham and have since played in Manchester, Cardiff, Dusseldorf and have a May 11 date in Brussels. The duo will be wrapping up their shows with a final stop in London on May 22 where they will perform in Wembley Arena.

Prior to their London show Plant and Krauss will be in Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Oslo and Bergen. They will then travel back to the United States for  a show in Roanoke, Va. on June 2.

Plant and Krauss announced they would be touring to support their Raising Sand album that was released on October 23, 2007. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #24 by Rolling Stone in their Top 50 Albums of 2007.

While Plant and Krauss are expected to play several of the songs off Raising Sand they will also perform many of their own singles from their catalog.

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding a potential Led Zeppelin reunion tour following the incredibly successful show they put on in December at the O2 Arena in London but the likelihood of that happening remains slim.
